Honored to Speak at the Democratic National Convention
I'm thrilled to be chosen as a speaker at the Democratic National Convention. It's an honor to be able to speak to the delegates, honored guests, and American public watching at home about why we must re-elect President Barack Obama.
As I stand on stage at the convention, I will amplify your pro-choice voices. I will speak on behalf of NARAL Pro-Choice America's million member-activists, and all Americans who understand that women--not politicians--should be able to make personal, private health-care decisions.
As you may remember, I served on the Democratic platform committee and represented all of you at our platform drafting meeting in Minneapolis earlier this month. I'm proud that the Democratic Party is again reaffirming its commitment to protect women's reproductive rights through the party platform, and by choosing so many pro-choice speakers for the convention.
NARAL Pro-Choice America PAC endorsed President Obama for re-election because he understands the issue of choice is a deeply personal one. Throughout his first term, President Obama has been committed to protecting a woman's right to choose and making reproductive-health care more accessible and affordable for women. His administration has enacted critical reproductive-health policies that will affect generations to come.
To prevail against the War on Women, we must defeat the Romney-Ryan ticket and send President Obama back to the White House for four more years. I'm proud to take that message to Charlotte next month on behalf of all of you.
Paid for by NARAL Pro-Choice America, www.ProChoiceAmerica.org, and not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.

Dear Nancy, as loyal NARAL supporter, I wish you strong lungs and a strong spirit for the convention. I'd also like to urge you to share stories of pro-choice women out there; I'm a retired USAF officer and I've believed in personal choices for personal lives, all my life. Of course issues of national security, financial stability, and environmental policies are all very important. However, if a candidate is not pro-choice, they will not get my vote; period. Good luck
Congratulations to Nancy Keenan! I won't be watching the convention because of the lead role given to Bill Clinton, whose policies caused so much harm to poor women and many of the disabled, while his NAFTA policies have already significantly reduced the middle class, leaving the US much more open to complete economic collapse. It's disappointing/embarrassing that Clinton has upstaged the president again, but your speech will be a bright spot at the convention.
Dear Nancy, as a strong supporter of NARAL I am pleased that you ate speaking at the convention and are representinting women and women's health issues. It is imperative as you know that President Obama is reelected n order not to allow Romney to win. Being a parent of 2 daughters it is important to us that they have the right to make decisions about their bodies.

Congratulations, Nancy, and thanks for alerting me in email that you will be a speaker at the Democratic Convention. The television coverage where I live does not begin until 7:00 PM Mountain Time (9:00 PM Eastern Time), so your speech may not be broadcast here. In addition, I will not be able to access a computer at 6:00 PM tonight. So I hope your speech will be available online later for me to see and hear. I am so pleased that you are being included by the Democratic Party at the Convention, and I look forward to hearing your address.
