The media are paying a lot of attention to the presidential primary in Illinois this Tuesday, March 20, but we at NARAL Pro-Choice America are reminding voters in the Land of Lincoln that there also are some important congressional primary races.

To make sure voters have the 411 on candidates running for office, we're creating an online voter guide to make sure people know where candidates stand on choice.

Here are some races where we have an excellent chance of scoring pro-choice victories in the fall:

In the 10th Congressional District, we have two pro-choice candidates in the Democratic primary taking on incumbent Rep. Robert Dold, who earned a 30-percent score on our 2011 Congressional Record on Choice.

Two of the candidates running for the right to challenge Dold, Brad Schneider and Ilya Sheyman, are both pro-choice.

A similar situation is unfolding in the 8th District, where two pro-choice candidates in the Democratic Primary, Tammy Duckworth and Raja Krishnamoorthi, are running to challenge anti-choice incumbent Rep. Joe Walsh.

You can find out more about other races in Illinois, and don't forget to check out our page regarding the presidential candidates' records on choice.
