Susan B. Anthony List Says "Jump," Anti-Choice Candidates Ask, "How High?"

I want to make sure that people are aware of how Radical these anti-abortionists are

Although it does not change my mind one bit; it is a great thing that "Republican front-runner", Mitt Romney refuses to sign the SBA List pledge. A good slap in the face from a man, who many Americans believe is in the main stream. Regardless, we still need a free thinking President Obama in the White House, as long as so many Supreme Court seats are likely to turn over. Remembering as well the advise and consent required by the Senate needs protected in the comming elections.

I wonder where the Republicans are really hoping to go with all this. They all just seem like hypocrites.

They want to overturn Roe v. Wade, but they also want to defund all family planning services that would help women find alternatives to abortion and prevent them from getting affordable birth control. That just doesn't make sense to me.

What they are doing reminds me of when I was in high school. They said, "the only way to not get pregnant or contract an std is to practice abstinence." Big surprise that didn't work for most of America. And what about the men who just don't take no for an answer?

When I got the Planned Parenthood action letter in the mail, I couldnt believe how far these anti-choice will go: Stealing blueprints/Hacking blue prints of building plans just to name one. Their actions are above and beyond any civility.

Is there any way to make a group like this verify that their namesake would approve of their actions? Surely Susan B. Anthony would see their actions as a threat to the advancement of women and the freedom for women to govern their own bodies. I would like to see a legal attack on the group for using her name in this way.
@angela - Hypocrites in the most disgusting and dishonest form...they care about "babies" only until they are brought to term and then turn their backs on the real babies that need care! This shows they don't really care about babies at all and only care about keeping women out of power in their own lives and in the country as a whole. One more thing - Men who don't take no for an answer are called rapists!

I am shocked and amazed each and every time this subject comes up at how backwards thinking some people are. Have they forgotten what happened before? It is as though we are moving backwards not forward and how sad for our county. Oh, by the way, what about the care and consideration given to these infants once they are here? Oh, that's right, these folks no longer care.

BJ, what happens to the infants once they are here is this: no WIC, no health care, no help for the mother. I am so disgusted with the direction of the Republicans; let's get rid of them over the next few elections!

The republicons love fetuses, but obviously hate people. I am sure men don,t want to have children they don't want any more than women do. Under the republiCON's plans male babies would starve too. I think the republicons, being the bigots that they are, are also upset that the demographics in america are changing, so they want to use white women to breed more white babies. Heence their hatred of birth control. Even though they all use it themselves. Misogyny ad bigotry. Vote REPUBLICON.

I am appalled at these fanatics who are using Susan B.Anthony's name to futher their sick cause. SBA did so much for WOMEN's Rights. She did not approve of abortion, but she would have certainly supported Planned Parenthood for all the good work they do in educating women, supporting them & keeping them healthy in body & spirit. This country is so backward when it comes to these matters...abortion, marriage equality, racism...Shame, shame, shame. Let's keep Obama in.

The Republican war on women is only part of the power grab! In Michigan they are taking away the power of the vote by putting "Emergency Financial Managers" in charge of cities that are in financial trouble. These EFM's have the power to over ride the legally elected officials of those cities, void union contracts, and can unilaterally fire officials. At the moment, it is only in Michigan, but Pennsylvania, and New Jersey are getting close to doing the same thing! Heil Republicans!?!?!? We have to stop the radical right before we end up in the situation Germany found themselves in during the 1930s and 40s! The war on womens rights is just the visible part of the power grab that is going on by the radical right.

Why don't our anti-choice people read about what is happening? 7 billion+ people on earth---a high percentage living under poverty, disease, little or no education---heading toward 10 billion. We can't even take care properly of those already here one earth: wars, crime, jails full,poor educations, religions at knife throats. And YOU WANT MORE PEOPLE ON EARTH??? Show the Almighty you deserve and can take care of those already here!

Susan B. Anthony was a HUGE advocate for women's rights back in her day. The fact that these anti-choice misogynists put this dispicable agenda under her name is not only hypocritical, but also nonsensical and insulting!
