Help Elect a Pro-Choice Congressman in Louisiana, Cedric Richmond
Florida isn't the only Gulf Coast state with an exciting chance for a pro-choice pickup in Congress. In Louisiana, NARAL Pro-Choice America PAC has endorsed state Rep. Cedric Richmond for U.S. House in the 2nd District.
Richmond will face off against incumbent Republican Joseph Cao in the November election. Cao has never voted pro-choice while in Congress, and even voted for the Stupak-Pitts amendment to the health-reform bill. Cao wants to overturn Roe v. Wade and called abortion "a moral evil, at a par with slavery."
The New Orleans area deserves an elected official who will stand up for a woman's right to choose--not try to eliminate it. Help elect Cedric Richmond to Congress - and make sure you know all about voting by mail, where your polling location is, and early voting - and score another pro-choice pickup in Louisiana.

We need all the pro-choice votes in congress we can get, but before you donate to Cedric Richmond in Louisiana you should know
Cedric Richmond voted against a bill that would have helped protect victims of domestic violence, voted against legislation that would have prohibited workplace discrimination - TWICE!, and when provided the opportunity to vote in support of women's health / reproductive rights - he didn't even bother to show up!
I did my research, and this wolf in sheep's clothing won't get a dime of my money.
