Scott Roeder found guilty in murder of Dr. Tiller
Here's a statement from NARAL Pro-Choice America President Nancy Keenan regarding the verdict in Scott Roeder's trial for the murder of Dr. Tiller:
Washington. D.C. - Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, issued the following statement in response to a jury's conviction of Scott Roeder as guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Dr. George Tiller.
"The jury examined the facts of this case and rightfully convicted Scott Roeder for the brutal murder of Dr. George Tiller inside his church in Kansas. Our thoughts are with Dr. Tiller's family and friends. Even though this conviction brings a murderer to justice, it won't replace the husband, father, and grandfather they lost last May. Dr. Tiller was a tireless advocate for reproductive health who called on us to 'trust women' to make the personal, private decisions that are best for them and their families. We will continue to honor his legacy of compassion and resolve.
"We also call on opponents of a woman's right to choose to end the practice of inflammatory rhetoric and tactics that inspire this kind of violent action from the most extreme factions of the anti-choice movement. No other abortion provider's family should have to endure the tragedy of seeing their loved one killed for providing an essential and legal health service to women."

Oh please, this is not true at all. I have personally interviewed Dr. Tiller's colleague Dr. Carhart myself, and I asked him point blank to explain the procedure to me in detail. He said there is no stabbing, brain sucking, or pulling out during a late-term abortion. The prodecure works this way: The fetus is given a lethal injection shot to stop its heart. Then a few days later the mother is induced to deliver a still-born fetus. Dr. Carhart says that the only time when a fetus' head must be collapsed is when it has a deformity such as hydrocephalus where the head is too big to pass through the mother's cervix without injuring her. But even in this case, the fetus is given a lethal injection FIRST, and then a few days later the skull is opened and collapsed so that the mother can deliver the still-born fetus. PLEASE take the time to do REAL research by talking to actual doctors and abortion providers instead of looking up information on the internet. The information you find online about abortion (or anything else for that matter) is rarely accurate or correct. It is best to get your information from primary sources, such as actual medical providers.
To whom it may concern: first I do not know how you got me on your site. I am Not Pro-Choice.... I do not condone baby killing.
No, I do not believe in what the Dr's attacker did was right, he should not have taken into his hand to kill this man....no matter how justified he felt he was. But, then how many thousands of babies lives have been snuffed out, at the hands of these Dr's and this Dr. as well.
You people mention how he was such a Great Dr. and about his family , grandchildren, and children?
Well, there have been thousands of little babies, that would have become , Mothers , Fathers, sisters, brothers etc....even maybe a prisident someday, if the men with their on their hands , allowed these babies to live....
God, will be the judge, and he will bring that judgement on these people someday, that kill little babies...and curseit be the blood money they receive....
Do not send me anymore of your E-Mails....
And may God Bless this man who thought in his own moral concience mind, he was doing something he felt was justified, to save thousands of other human babies lives...Let God be the judge of him...No, he should'nt have taken it in his own hands, But, neither should the Dr. who had the babies blood on his hands....No one was there to protect these innocent little children, no one was there to protect the rights of these children...from this man... God heard their cries from heaven....and felt their pain, I am sure.
Because this Dr. was guilty of murdering these preciouse innocent human beings....
Illonise, I almost threw up when I read your message.....
So that makes killing babies OK, because they get a leathel injection, and it stops their heart.....we're talking about babies, human beings' a little person, with a God given soul....
We don't even justify doing this to animals, that is concidered animal abuse. Does'nt a little human derserve better then that out of life? I believe so....
Maybe, these people who get brain washed into distroying their babies, should just learn to keep their legs crossed. If they can't face the responsibility of careing for their own flesh and blood.
Nothing you can say, will justify the killing of these babies.....
I agree with NARAL, murder is murder is murder. Dr. Tiller was murdered and his killer will be convicted by our laws that prevent a person from taking the life of another. This is a tragedy! Just because you have views or opinions that differ from another, you have no right to justify your murder of a living human being because of your views or opinions. Law is law. rights are rights. In the USA, all men are created equal, and all humans are endowed with the right to their life! Dr. Tiller had the right to his life and it was taken away and that murderer needs to go to jail.
D, before you spout off a bunch of self-righteous moral crap about people "keeping their legs closed", perhaps you should know that the vast majority of women who have late-term abortions are MARRIED women. They are not young, irresponsible, heartless sluts like you portray them to be. The patients who came to Dr. Tiller were GRIEVING PARENTS who very much WANTED these unborn babies. But unfortunately, they learned that their babies were going to be born with debilitating or even fatal abnormalities. These grieving parents made a difficult decision to spare their children that pain and suffering by allowing them to return to God. NO ONE has the right to judge these parents for choosing to end their children's suffering. Unless you have been in that very same position yourself, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO JUDGE. In fat, I bet you're a male who has no idea what it's even like to be pregnant!! You anti-choice people are all the same.
It's fascinating how the statement that we have "no right to judge" is always followed by a judgmental attack on the "Judgmental" person's opinion. Scott Roeder, Paul Hill and all the others who have perpetuated violence against abortionists, and their facilities are heroes. They are the only ones consistently following their purported beliefs. Your commentators here laughingly say "murder, is murder, is murder, and yet they are very selective about which killing's are justified; i.e. Killing babies - OK, Killing the killers of babies - Not OK, Killing the killers of the killers of babies - definitely OK. Well two out of three I guess is what you call consistency. Killing abortionists isn't the problem. The problem is that society does not try, convict and execute everyone involved in the "Murder for hire" business and take apart the facilities brick by brick. Paul Hills full essay is on my site at RightThinking.info and it is devastating to your nonsense about who is the murderer and who are the heroes.
Fortunately justice was served, and this murderer was found unequivocally guilty. Let that be a lesson to anyone that thinks he can take the law into his own hands.

Of course, pro-abortionists are the first to bash any attempt to limit abortions by playing coathaners argumentation, meaning cases of women who want to kill their own babies illegally taking the law into their own hands (which that side justify). Yet lump pro-lifers with folks who took law into own hands to bash us. Hypocrisy.
