Health-Care Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them

NARAL Pro-Choice America released a video today [see above] that addresses how anti-choice politicians and their allies are engaging in distortions to derail real health-care reform.

Why now? Congress is home for the August recess. Perhaps you've heard about the town halls? Right-wing groups are filling these venues to shut down any constructive discourse on health-care reform or any other issue.

Last week, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported on the anti-choice "contributions" to a screaming crowd at a community forum last weekend featuring Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius:

[A]bortion was paramount for many of those in attendance. That some proposals might only offer the choice of an insurance plan that would provide for such care - and that no one would have to accept it - was beyond the capacity of this discourse.
