Is there nothing planned for Houston?
How sad that there is nothing planned for a city the size of Los Angeles.
You are brave and you are not alone. The silent majority is with you now and every day you go to work and assist woman to be empowered with the choice to end their pregnancy. It is sad to be faced with making such a decision but it is right for all women to have control over their own lives. Education is the best way to stop unwanted pregnancy and every effort must be made to educate our women about birth control early in their lives so medical intervention is a last and safe resort. TRhank you for all you do for women rich or poor.
This is a very sad situation and the family, all who worked with and befriended Dr. Tiller has my deepest sympathy. These are very sad days for Pro Choice and all women in general.
I am so sadden by the murder of Dr. Tiller, a courageous and admirable man who stood up for our rights against the hate mangers of the anti-abortion movement and my sympathy goes out to his family, his friends and the staff of his clinic. I admire your dedication to continue his work and standing up for pro-choice. Thank you.

SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA: Another event today Tuesday June 2 in San Francisco - 5 to 6:30 PM at the steps of San Francisco City Hall, Polk and McAllister a Speak-Out In Outrage and Sorrow, called by World Can't Wait, Bay Area Coalition for our Reproductive Rights, ANSWER Coalition, Linci Comi (West Coast Feminist Health Project) and more. Everyone welcome. Come speak out... Abortion Doctors Are Heroes - They Save Women's Lives! Bring signs, your voice, your sorrow and outrage.
Sadly, the mountain folks up here southwest of Denver are more likely to praise the, arguably psychotic behavior of the assassin of Dr. Tiller, than the healthcare commitment, kindness, and courage he and his amazing staff have demonstrated.
But I'm surprised there is nothing planned in Denver. Such terrorism must not be tacitly encouraged to flourish within our communities.
May the killer's name be forgotten.
How very tragic this is. It is obscene that the anti-choice movement, who must consider themselves accomplices, at least in that they provided the environment from which the assassin appeared, describe themselves as 'pro-life'.
I'm a male, I'm an Australian in Australia so it would be easy to say 'this doesn't affect me' - but it does. An invisible but meaningful memorial to Dr. Tiller would be to politicize this assassination to the max - use it to advance the rights of women to choose.

I am horrified at the lack of attention this act is being given in Boulder CO.
The terrorists anti-choice freaks gather at our abortion clinic often, sporting placards with what are titled aborted fetuses - generally full term babies covered in blood.
Here's the question I want answered and it's two-fold: first why are these monsters terrorizing women? Are they aware that for every woman seeking support there is a man somewhere who is equally responsible? second, why aren't they 'saving' these fetuses by adopting them rather than killing their care givers? These are the monsters among us and none of us is safe as long as they are unconstrained.
I heard there was supposed to be one in West Palm beach, FL. I am afraid it has already passed. Does anyone know?
