Dr. Susan Wicklund on the Rachel Maddow Show

My heart goes out to the friends and family of Dr. Tiller. Hopefully, this will only strengthen the resolve of those who are still practicing and drive home the point to those who continue to fight for the freedom of choice.
This is also one of the many reasons we love "The Rachel Maddow Show"... she gives air time to some of the most important and volatile subjects, taking the heat because it means so much to stand for something you believe in...!

During her pregnancy, a woman remains the authority of her own body, and a woman is the exclusive authority over the future of her unborn fetus; and, Deuteronomy 5:16 means just that: [Honor your father and your mother, so that your days will be prolonged upon the land, which the Lord God gives unto you]. Therefore, GOD did give the woman the INALIENABLE right to refuse child rearing, because a woman cannot be made to be a SLAVE to childbirth. The Catholic Church is wrong about this because the Church is only trying to guarantee itself a new ECONOMIC SLAVE to use, abuse, and destroy. Thereafter, if the conditions of life are so unfavorable, that a child cannot be born out of love between man and woman, then the woman can justify the termination of her pregnancy, because of those conditions which are unfavorable to child rearing. Why, because, GOD gave parents complete authority over the rearing, over the teachings, and over the development of their child (Proverbs 22:6). The solution, herewith, is to improve the quality and the conditions of life, so that a woman will want to have a child, and so that a woman will be properly supported in family life, and child rearing. So, just as I (a man) can make the choice to not have a wife, and to live a life of complete loneliness, so as to NOT bring a child into this LIVING HELL upon planet earth, so it is that a woman can abort her pregnancy, for the same reason. I have made the choice to stop this insanity by not reproducing, and it would be irresponsible of me to allow my offspring to be tortured by the insane authorities of this world, when I know for sure that that would be the child’s fate. Not only is this my personal right, of free choice, it is also my INALIENABLE right guaranteed by the Declaration of Independence, and the First Amendment, which states “We The People” have the inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the [pursuit of happiness]. These inalienable rights were affirmed by the Rowe v. Wade decision, of the U. S. Supreme Court, and now Catholic Churches are feeling the power of our inalienable rights, and what the Catholic Church is feeling right now is their own impotence, which results from their own failure to improve the quality of human life. So in retaliation, the Church is now committing murder in response to the power of our inalienable rights; and just like the Church did 400 and 700 years ago, they are now enforcing their ignorant dogma with the barrel of a gun. I believe you should make people aware of the truth of reality, herewith, and empower the people with knowledge and understanding, so that these catholic fool assassins will be driven into seclusion, by the due diligence of the moral majority. Here is another fact: the Catholic Church is/was responsible for creating Heaven on Earth, and the Government is/was responsible for protecting the individual rights of human beings; since both religion and the past governments are a failure, we the people must encourage the current President to achieve that which past governments, and religion, have failed to do.

Dr. Susan Wicklund has worked in the field of reproductive health for more than 20 years in 12 states, and is the author of "This Common Secret: My Journey as an Abortion Doctor." She is traveling to New York City for this event from Montana where she has recently opened the Mountain Country Women's Clinic.
