A "conscience cause" to fight the "conscience clause"
I have a post up over at Huffington Post, about the Federal Refusal Rule, and I wanted to make sure that everyone takes a look. Here's a quick snippet:
After enduring eight long, long years of unrelenting attacks on women's freedom and privacy from the anti-choice Bush administration, it's incredible to continue to receive good news from the Obama administration, and we should all take a moment to thank President Obama so that he knows he has the support of pro-choice America behind him.
Believe me; I understand that winning the election was a huge step forward - HUGE! - but right now, we need an activist's "conscience cause." That means that we have to act on our values and be partners in power in supporting a pro-choice president in the same way we helped elect him.

I dont understand why there has to be pro life pro choice groups, dont we really believe in both?
How bout a single pro choice, life, common sence group.I dont believe this is a battle between good or bad people, left or right, christian or secular.
But a battle against our understanding. To rewrite our thinking.
Im pro choice, i believe if a person comes in contact with me, whether accidental or on purpose.
And infringes on my personal freedom to live my life the way i believe i have the right to do, i should have the choice to remove them from this planet in any way i see fit.
If someones heart stops, what is the 1st thing we as humans do? we try to restart the heart. Why?
because, It is a living person, theyre heart was beating
and it stopped. Its our personal responsibilty as a person to do what we can to make that heart start beating again.
anyone understand anything Im saying? Im no genius, heck i dont even know proper punctuation
or spelling.I dont believe someone has to be smart to understand love, hate, pain, pleasure. they come naturally. But we can warp our understanding of these things. rewriting our thinking.
