Liberty Lowdown: Celebrating Obama's Inauguration
Barack Obama's inauguration shook DC all night long. Our staff here at NARAL Pro-Choice America joined in the craziness and welcomed our new pro-choice prez with open arms.

Though we have a lot of work to do with President Obama and the new Congress, we're psyched that 2009 is starting off with a bang. Obama has already overturned the Global Gag Rule, which will positively affect women and health clinics worldwide. We also had over 400 bloggers participate in Blog for Choice Day on the 36th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.
Let's keep the pro-choice change a'comin! It should be a fabulous year.

Dear Sir
I don't understand why men are getting into this fight it is our body and there for our choice. No one challenges me on what I can and can't do so you can go tell them to stick their ideas where the sun does not shine with my regards.
