McCain: Mocking Women's Health and Losing Their Votes (with "Air Quotes")
I'm sure you've all seen/heard/watched with horror as John McCain's most appalling moment about choice yet unfolds before the eyes of hundreds of thousands (millions? I'm bad with numbers) during last night's debate. McCain actually mocks protecting women's health by putting "health" in air quotes. Obama speaks about protecting Roe v. Wade and leaving the decision in the hands of women and their doctors.
Is there really anything more to say? Could their differences be any more clear? We have 19 days, pro-choice America. Let's make it happen.
VOTE BARACK OBAMA ON NOVEMBER 4.
UPDATE: Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, blogs about this very topic over at Huffington Post and the Boston Globe picked-up our coverage.

It was stunning. And I hope any undecided women or anyone who supported Hillary, as I did, finds it within themselves to help defeat McCain. It's no time to be sanctimonious with John McCain and Sarah Palin ready to air quote our health and rights away.
Please, please, please, Folks. Elect Obama!
Although I live in Scotland and would not be compromised by McCain it still makes scary viewing and would hope that American women and men would not vote for either McCain or Palin and turn the clock back to the dark ages
So often, right wing politicians speak to their supporters in a code that communicates their intentions without turning off Independents and undecided voters. They mask the Choice issue with words like "State's rights" and "Strict Constitutionalist". But when John McCain put "women's health" in air quotes, he made it crystal clear how he intends to conduct himself once in office. In doing so, he has exposed himself as same old prototype right wing politician we have come to expect from the Republican party since Ronald Reagan.
Now our choice is crystal clear...
I will vote for Obama, on this and... other issues!!
I cant yet vote because im 16 years old, but i have been following this election. For McCain to want to take away a woman's right to choose is appaling to me. I have never engaged in any kind of sexual activity but i have been pressured and if i were to become pregnant I would like options. I dont want the government to tell me that I have to carry my baby because then my only option would be adoption and I dont think i would be very willing to give my baby away to a strange family. At least with abortion I know my baby will be going to a better place and I have a forgiving God so morally I may feel guilt but I have my faith. I have alot of Obama t-shirts, watches, and hats I promote him to the fullest. I just cant understand why McCain wants to take away our voice, our right to choose. Where is the justice in that? A woman's body will now be tied to the government?? What is this?? If i could I would vote Obama but for now i will continue to promote him.
This is good that people can take the business loans and this opens new possibilities.
