Yesterday the South Dakota Campaign for Healthy Families kicked off its fight against the Vote Yes For Life campaign to ban abortion in South Dakota, and boy did the press take notice. Below are just a few of the headlines we saw this morning:

In order for this abortion ban to appear on the ballot, the Vote Yes For Life campaign needs nearly 17,000 verified signatures (16,776 to be exact) by the April 1 deadline. Please take a moment to read the articles and forward them to any friends or family in South Dakota… because we know, from their decisive victory in 2006, that South Dakotans want to see a different vision for our state – one that allows families to make personal, private decisions without government interference.
