AZ bill would disclose personal patient info to the state
Because patient rights don’t exist if you got yourself knocked up—duh.
…in addition to a woman's age, race and marital status — which the state health department already collects — it would mandate that doctors collect and report information such as the reason for the abortion, who referred the woman to the clinic, the weight of the aborted fetus and other intimate personal information about the woman.
The bill could also mandate that a report be filed when a woman uses emergency contraception.
Eleanor Eisenberg, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Arizona, says the bill “singles out a single medical procedure and imposes some incredibly onerous and burdensome requirements.” Of course it does—that’s the point.

Wow. Why are they doing this? I can't understand the need to control. I talk to my therapist about this all the time, and she says to want to control other people in such a way that you would cause harm and even destroy, you have to be a sociopath. Sociopaths have no conscience. There is nothing we can do to change the mind of a sociopath. But we can show them the compassionate people of this world will not allow that sort of dictatorship. We have to do everything in our power to save women. Have our rights ever been threatened like this since Roe vs Wade?

My advice to women who find themselves at the mercy of one of these information nazis is to lie through their teeth whenever possible. Lie about age, marital status, race...even name and address if possible. It's not the fault of the doctors, who are caught in the middle here. But they can only fill out a report with the information they're given by the woman they're treating.
