Thank you bloggers for choice!
I just wanted to put out a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in Blog for Choice Day--over 500 of you signed up and that doesn't even include everyone who blogged without signing up. Just incredible.
We want to thank you properly and get a good solid count of everyone who blogged, so please--shoot us an email with a link to your post.
A roundup to follow...

I mounted your graphic on my sidebar, but I have not yet formulated a blog post. I tend to say more about this in comments on other peoples' blogs for now.
But please add me to the list of pro-choice bloggers.

Now that I know about you - and this - I'm joining, and I'll do it again next year. :)

Add me to the list! My post is up at http://ddextra.wordpress.com/2007/01/22/blog-for-choice/
I put the graphic in the sidebar and added tags but I never show up in any listings so I just wanted to let you know I am with you.
Thanks for doing this. It is great to see such a groundswell of support for choice.

It felt good to be part of something like this.

Since my Friendster blog might be inaccessable to some, I will post my words here.
Why I am Pro-Choice (by Harry N):
Every individual must be free. No one and no society has the right to take away this freedom, unless there is good reason. Such reason is nonexistent for those that attack abortion access and adult consensual privacy. Restricting abortion brings wrongful risk to the pregnant woman’s self-determination, health, life, life fulfillment, and ability to care for her present family. And the government has no business restricting adult consensual freedom, including the freedom of LGBTIQ people. If the state truly cares about helping its citizens make responsible decisions, as it should, than it must support comprehensive sex education and contraception, without restrictions. And it must actively combat and stop those who impose such restrictions, like pharmacists, anti-choice pregnancy centers, and discriminatory health insurers who don’t cover birth control. And we as a society must educate all those who have a stake in our responsible healthy living: parents, teachers, clergy, doctors, HMOs, politicians, and kids. We must fight social problems not by forbidding freedom, but by giving people, including our children, the tools they need to choose wisely with the freedom they have. And we must not use misleading fear tactics, which sadly is a common practice among those that mentor youth.

Could you possibly alter the graphic to have just the date, not the year so we can keep it on our sites without it looking dated?
