There was a ton of pro-choice victories last night and I for one, am elated.
Take a minute to welcome the new pro-choice voices of Congress!

I went to sleep lastnight crossing my fingers that here in California Prop 85 didn't pass - and am more than elated that it didn't! YAY!! Victories all around, and I'm full of love and appreciation for all of those who stood up & fought for our rights. Thank you all & Congrats!
I'm so glad to see how many pro-choice-ers there are.
Deciding to vote pro-choice really opened up my eyes. I went to the poles to vote & was informed I'm not allowed to register @ the poles & it must have been done 5 days prior to elections. I (of course) didn't know that, but realized that I can't be the only young person (or person of ANY age) that didn't know that, so I'm thinking about starting something to make young people aware of how & when to register... and then to advise them if there's something they REALLY believe in (for me it's the right to CHOOSE) to make sure they voice their opinion & vote for those who support THEIR views...or else they may never get the chance again!
While I am saddened that the anti-choice candidate in Nebraska was victorious, I am encouraged by all of the pro-choice victories in America that I and so many women hoped for. Thank you to the tireless work of all who worked to make this happen.
I am ecstatic over the results of the elections, but the hard work is hardly over. We must learn from the mistakes the degenerate, extremist religious right made. We are faced with a Right Wing Supreme Court, and we must contend with that also. If we can flood them with bills concerning the rights of women, and minorities, we can keep them busy enough for years to become ineffectual.
I cannot stress enough the importance of our representatives not getting involved in scandal. I will be much more critical of a Democrat that strays from that cource. This is a golden chance to right the wrongs the Republicans, the wrongs Dumbya imposed on our society. Let's not blow it!
