Because of you’re the action you've taken recently
against the "nuclear option", a complete disaster has been narrowly avoided!
Last night, a bipartisan group of senators reached an
agreement that takes the "nuclear option" off the table but allows for simple
majority votes on three of President Bush's absolute worst nominees: William
Pryor, Priscilla Owen, and Janice Rogers Brown.
But the fight isn't over; we need to continue to take action to block these three nominations. If we are to stop Owen, Brown or Pryor, we need pro-choice Republicans to join pro-choice Democrats.
