“Nuclear” threat increases by the day
Make sure to check out these two NY Times pieces on the “nuclear option” and the increasing tension surrounding the issue. Then go take action to make sure that Frist doesn’t succeed in this plan to pack the courts with Bush’s extremist judges.
Because as executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Minnesota Tim Stanley pointed out, "we see the vote on the filibuster as basically a vote for the next Supreme Court justice." Scary stuff.
