Pennsylvania women take their campaign nationwide!

Chastitybelt_1

About a month ago, I let you know about the innovative way women in Pennsylvania were taking on the bullshit “Chastity Awareness Week” created to address unwanted pregnancies (cause who needs sex education or birth control?!). The folks over at NARAL Pro-Choice Pennsylvania had women order chastity belts from the State Legislature! Genius.

Well, their originality paid off and thousands of “orders” were sent.  The campaign certainly got the attention of lawmakers, so GiveUsRealChoices has decided to take on the White House.

Considering Bush’s proposed budget for ineffective abstinence-only education—$206 million yearly—who better than him to get a chastity belt order?!

So go to the site now, and let President Bush know that the way to prevent unwanted pregnancy isn’t through providing youth with inaccurate and misleading information.
