Georgia to vote on waiting period law today

The State House is set to vote on a proposal requiring a 24-hour waiting before getting an abortion. Thankfully this bill is a little less insane than the original, but not by much. These waiting periods are just a way to further limit access to abortion—and they particularly hurt women who are traveling from other counties or who have to take a day off from work to seek the procedure.

Make sure to stay tuned for more info as it comes in…and if anyone from Georgia has an inside scoop make sure to let me know!
