Take Action!
The National Organization of Women (NOW) has created a way for us to take some action against the recent inaccurate polling by mainstream media. There has been over-sampling of Republicans and under-sampling of Democrats in polls of voters conducted by the Gallup Organization -- which in turn overestimates the support for Bush.
The Gallup polls are commissioned and reported by major news organizations like Time/CNN and USA Today. George Gallup Jr. is an evangelical Christian who said in a speech concerning polling, “The most profound purpose of polls is to see how people are responding to God...When I ask a question on these subjects, what I'm always trying to find out is: 'Are we doing the will of God?'" Hmm. And this is the polling we’re using for our major media resources?
